Fall Cleanup
The fall cleanup is very important between September and November to protect the perennials, bushes and shrubs for the winter, it’s a good opportunity to cut back perennials and remove dead and dry plants. The fall cleanup is not necessarily the leaf cleanup and it’ll be part of this process but not in the same time.
Leaf cleanup
The leaf cleanup is other opportunity to keep the yard in good shape and off of the excess of leaves and debris, usually we do the leaf cleanup hourly rate $60 per man hour with minimum of 4 hours and 10% of the final price for disposal fee.
Mulch installation
Usually we install mulch after a yard cleanup. When the yard is clean any kind of mulch (Bark, Compost, Soil Pep) around 3 inches are able to prevent and burn small weeds because the roots are not very strong and it’s the first purpose of the mulch and we don’t recommend mulch with weed barrier, the second purpose is to be pretty, a good tip about mulch with plants are to change the irrigation system for drip lines to get water just for the plants and not in whole garden beds and probably it’ll be there with less weeds.
8 hours garden peck
Usually we send 2 guys to do 4 hours each to work in regular garden services like weeding, pruning, cleanups, shrub removal and more.
Power Rake (Dethatcher)
Thatch is a layer of organic and inorganic material that builds up on top of soil. The layer may be composed of anything that falls on the yard — leaves, grass clippings, or small debris. Usually, these materials decay and feed the soil. But that process takes time.
When thatch accumulates faster than it decays, it eventually builds up to the point where it is suffocating the soil and lawn, not nourishing them.
Aeration
Aeration is an important process to keep your lawn healthy and strong. Over time, soil becomes compacted, making it difficult for water, air, and nutrients to reach the roots. By removing small plugs of soil, aeration creates pathways that allow your lawn to “breathe” again. This helps the roots grow deeper, improves water absorption, and enhances fertilizer efficiency. We recommend aeration at least once a year, usually in the spring or fall, to maintain a lush and resilient lawn.
